Family

I've always felt blessed to have such a thoughtful family.

My mom is always doing things for me, the other day she stopped on her way to school (I don't really live on the way to school) to thread the serger I had borrowed from her to make the bags for Hailey's pre-school. She frequently goes out of her way to do things to make my life easier. I'm so lucky to have her! And I'm so lucky to have her family too...

I was having trouble getting the embroidery machine to work so I could embroider the kids names on all 50 book bags. My great aunt Darlene volunteered to help me get it done on her amazing machine. She spent a lot of time helping me, I didn't even have to ask. I'm so grateful to her, she turned something that was stressful to me into something fun. (I'll put a picture of Hailey's bag on later)

Today both of my kids are sick. Both of them woke up from their naps soooooo sad. They needed to be held and wouldn't stop crying. After half an hour of trying to hold both of them and not succeeding in getting either of them to calm down I called Lani (practically in tears myself) and asked her if she could come help me. She came right over with dinner in her hands and a smile on her face. It didn't take long for my girls to turn from crying to happy. She took Hailey to the store to get a balloon and popsicles, that put a smile on Hailey's face that hasn't gone away yet. I'm so grateful for Lani, she is always so thoughtful! We all love and appreciate her.

Believe it or not all of these things happened in the past week. I am so grateful for all those people who do things to make my life easier. I hope that I can be as thoughtful as these three wonderful women are and help make someones life a little easier.
