Crazy Hair Day

It's red ribbon week at school and one of the days was Crazy Hair Day.  It's hard to tell, but there is a cup inside Hailey's ponytail making it extra high.

Hailey is loving school, she is excited about everything they do.  She just started being a reading tutor for some of the other kids in her class and is loving it.

Aida is getting big!

Lately Aida has the best imagination.  She walks around the house talking to a pretend person on the phone, or to one of her dolls.  It is so fun to listen to the things she says.  The blanket she is sitting on was mine when I was a baby and my kids love to borrow it from Grammy any time it's a little cold for the ride home.

I can't believe how tall and grown up Aida is.  For the longest time she still seemed like my baby, but now she really is seeming like a big sister.  She loves to kiss my stomach and say she's kissed the baby.  she is constantly asking if we can get the baby out so that she can hold her.

Aida's new love is Lip Gloss, she has gotten pretty good at putting it on herself.  I think chapstick would do, but something shiny and pink is even better!

Witches Night Out

Gardner Village in the Fall has been a tradition for us since Hailey was big enough to enjoy the witches.  This year it was too cold for Gigi to come with (the girls asked several times if she was meeting us there.) so Grammy and Opi can and it was a lot of fun!

The girls are both being witches for Halloween this year, but they each only wore part of their costumes.

Gigi made that hat for Cierra I'm guessing about  20 years ago, it's still so cute and fun!

Their favorite witch was the one who's lap they could sit on, there were alot of fun new ones this year.

Not our best picture, but proof that I was there.

Fall

Fall In Midway is absolutely beautiful!  We have enjoyed a long crisp fall the leaves started changing in August, the colors were Brilliant.   I took this picture last week, unfortunately the colors and the fog didn't come through very well, but hopefully you get the idea.  This is our back yard, in the last three days it has gotten cold enough that almost all the leaves are off the red trees in our yard.  We love FALL!

Fall Harvest

Grandma's garden came through this year with a lot of fun pumpkins and goards.  The girls had  a lot of fun arranging and re-arranging them.

This was their favorite was to have them.....it didn't stay that way for long.  I should have taken a picture of the way it looks now.  Much less chaotic, I've always wanted pumpkins lining my steps it's been so fun.

Aida's First day of Preschool

Aida has been so excited to start school!  We had a little scheduling problem with the school she was supposed to go to so now we're doing a little neighborhood preschool.  I has been fun, I got to teach the first month.  Aida can write her name all by herself now (when she wants to).  And she's great at the ABC song.  She's learning quickly and loving it!

Canning Peaches

This time Aida got to be my helper, she was amazing! I'm so grateful for my little helpers.

She peeled the majority of our peaches, after she was finished with each one she would say., "Mom, this one has been peached.  Doesn't it look pretty?"
