Hailey's 6 yr. Pictures

My Cousin Tatia came for a visit in July and had time to take Hailey's pictures while she was here.  She did such a great job I love all of them and had a really hard time choosing which ones to put on my wall!

Hailey started off less than thrilled about having to pose.  But, I kind of love that Tatia captured this pouty face, we see it quite often at our house.

Although Hailey tries to be pouty it never lasts long.  There is always a smile trying to push the frown away.

I absolutely love this face.  Sweet, thoughtful, curious.

As you can see her goal to have hair as long as Rapunzel has almost been accomplished.  When it is straight it goes to her waist.  She loves it and will not even talk about cutting it.

I can't believe how grown up Hailey is.

She is starting to want to help with all sorts of  grown up things.  My two favorites are that she always wants to sew something when I sew and she loves to help cook.

Hailey is such a fun girl.  She is full of energy and creativity!  We absolutely love having her in our family.

We tried to get pictures of the girls together at the end, but this was the best one...they weren't having it.

GREAT Aunt!

This is a picture of two of my favorite people!  Lani has been one of my best friends since I was tiny.  She has always been an important part of my life.

I'm so thankful to see that she is also both Hailey and Aida's best friend too.  My kids adore her!  We miss seeing her all the time.  Aida sometimes prays for her to come visit (which means more when you realize that her prayers usually consist of "Heavenly Father, bless we eat food.  Bless Dad to drive Safely.  In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen."  or "Heavenly Father, bless we sleep good.  In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen."  We are all so grateful to have such a wonderful person in our lives.

Blowing out the candles

The cake turned out huge we worked on it for 2 weeks.  Hailey helped  and was thrilled with each color.

The result was a 7 layer rainbow with strawberries and cream inbetween each layer.

4 cousins who absolutely adore each other.

Hailey and Libbie have been great friends from the very beginning they are so lucky to have each other.  We missed having Molly there.

Classic Skating

We went to Classic Skating for Molly's birthday, Hailey loved it.

They let the kids bring their scooters in and they had a great time.  Hailey goes super fast.

Aida was a little nervous with all the wild teenagers (they had the craziest hair!) and the loud music,  so Matt rented some roller blades and went around with her.
