Penny Love

My cousin Tatia has been in town the last couple of weeks with her adorable 1 year old Penny.  My kids are in love, they could not get enough of Penny and were so sad to see her go.

Hailey is 6!!!

We LOVE Hailey!!!  She has been such a wonderful part of our family for the past 6 years and we are so grateful to have her!
Hailey has been begging for a pet.  She was thrilled to get a fish for her birthday.

Hailey has been complaining that her helmet is too small....maybe that's why she can't/won't ride a bike.  With this crazy new helmet she should be riding a bike in no time.

Here is sparkle all cozy in her new home.

The Heber Creeper

We went for a ride on the Heber Valley Railroad with Lani.  We all had a great time, but I think Matt may have loved it the most.

There was a fun magician on the train and a musical act.  The kids wanted to go again as soon as we got off the train.

Kindergarden Graduation

Hailey loved her new Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Kohler, she did so many fun things!

Hailey quickly made friends with two cute girls named Presley and Mckayla.  It made school so much more fun!

Tractor Fun!

We are loving being so close to the garden.  Grandma Jeri bought a tractor not too long ago and Matt is in heaven!  He could drive that thing all day, he let the girls help him drive it around the other day.
Aida Loving that she is big enough for the tractor

Hailey really is driving!

Friends

One of the things I was most worried about when we moved was that it would be hard for the kids to make friends, but I guess I didn't need to worry.  Hailey and Aida have both made several fun friends who live really close.  The most fun thing about it is that there are two sets of sisters both of their ages so they can all play together and have a great time.  This is a picture of Aida and her cute friend Mia in our backyard.  Thank goodness kids are resilient!

Spring Has Come

Spring has come and thankfully it brought a lot of surprises in our new yard.  Daffodils, Tulips and a beautiful purply pink tree!  It took days of weeding and guessing what might turn into something, but I think it has the potential to be really pretty.

Spring time also means field trips at school.  Hailey got to ride on a school bus  (which she has been dying to do since several of her friends ride one to school) and bring a sack lunch to the zoo.  It was a fun, long and hot day.  She loved every minute of it!
