Matt Made a yummy chocolate cake for desert last night. Aida loved it so much she said yum the whole time she was eating and she had to have several helpings.

Today I was folding laundry and it was suspisciously quiet, I went to find Aida and she had pulled a chair over to the counter and was devouring what was left of the cake. I guess she likes chocolate!

Carousel

Today we went to get Aida's two year old pictures taken. She is getting so big, I can't wait to get the pictures, they turned out great! I promised the girls a ride on the Carousel if they were good, and they were PERFECT!

Lani came with us to help with the pictures, she took this picture of us on the carousel. Both of the girls loved it. My girls are so blessed to have so many wonderful Great Aunts/Uncles and Great Grandparents who they know and love!

Christmas Morning

This year the kids slept in until 8:30, actually Aida still had to wake Hailey up, but as soon as they were up they were ready to get going on Christmas!

It was so much fun, I love getting ready for Christmas, and I love watching everyone open the gifts just as much. The girls did not dissappoint.

Hailey can drive

Hailey and Aida got a car for Christmas from Grammy and Opi. They LOVE it!

Aida can even drive with a little help from Hailey on the pedal. It won't be long before she can do it herself.

While we were out driving on Christmas Eve morning we saw Santa fly by on a hot air balloon, we thought he might stop by, he touched down about a block from us. We later found out that he was in a run-away balloon without a pilot. The girls enjoyed watching the balloon.
