Bowling

We went bowling with Lani the other day and had a lot of fun.  Aida is great with the bumpers and the guide.  Hailey really figured it out by the second game and got a great score.  Thanks Lani for coming with us.

8 Months old

Sophie is 8 months old and learning new tricks everyday.  Her newest trick is that she can sit up without any help, I went in her room today and she was sitting in the crib instead of taking a nap.  She loves her cozy dolly and bear mini-blankets and almost can't sleep without them.  We love our Sophie!

Entrepreneur

Hailey has been wanting to sell Lemonade all summer long.  I finally caved and let her sell otterpops at the park.  She loved it.  She and Aida made $6 and bought a mini lalalloopsy pack to share.  It was a cooler day as you can see from the clouds in the background so they were happy with their success.

Pretend

Who doesn't love a little pretend play?  Hailey and Aida are ready for school to start so they decided to have a pretend school and here they are ready to go.  Backpacks full of fun stuff and sunglasses.

Sophie got a fun new toy and she is loving the freedom she has.  she loves to stand with all her weight on her cute little legs.

Sisters

These girls are so lucky to be sisters!  They love each other so much, I love listening to them play together.  The love to play house, it's their very best day if they can have Sophie play with them.  She is getting big enough that she loves to play with them too.

Aida

Aida is really growing up!  I think having a baby in our family has made me realize how grown up Aida is.  She loves to pretend, she could play barbies all day and usually has a princess dress on while she is doing it.  Recently Aida loves to do little surprises, one of my favorites is when she makes my bed in the morning and then tells me I need to go look in my room (she gets so excited her little hands shake).  She knows where every pillow belongs and does a great job.

I love this picture, the looks on the girls faces are so typical of them.  Hailey and Aida both adore Sophie and want to be touching her all the time.  Sophie loves them too, she smiles when they walk in the room.

Sophie is 7 months old.  She has a cute little sense of humor and is as sweet as they come.  She already know how to use her puppy dog eyes to get what she wants.

Hailey is 7 months old.  She is a great big sister and loves to help.  She loves school and learning.  Hailey has become a really great reader, she quite often stays up way to late just so she can finish a book.

Trading in Glasses for Sunglasses

When we went to get new glasses for Hailey to start school we got a fun surprise.  The doctor said that she no longer needed them!!!!!  She, unfortunately, was so disappointed that she didn't get the fun frames she had chosen that she burst into tears.  We finally put a smile back on her face with a few new pairs of sunglasses.

An Impromptu trip to the Zoo

The girls got to play the drums by the elephants, Hailey especially loved that.

It was a super hot day, the sweat made Sophie's hair lay down, but she didn't seem to mind.

Hailey is 7

Hailey got a Lalaloopsy for her birthday and is now obsessed with them.  She can't get enough!  One of her favorite things is driving them around on their own scooter.

On Hailey's birthday she wanted to go to the Kamas pool, so Lani came up and we had a fun family day.

Even Sophie loved the water.

One of the fun things about Hailey is that she loves all things crafty.  She got a fun bracelet making kit from her cousins and stayed up late making bracelets.

Hailey loves to play with dolls especially when she can do their hair and dress them up.
