We are moving (hopefully!)

It's official, our house is up for sale. We have found another house we love and are hoping they will accept our offer. Until then we are madly packing up everything we don't need and cleaning constantly. Organizing is my new hobby.

Frosting the snowman

Hailey and Aida have been waiting for there to be enough snow to build a snowman. They got a snowman kit from one of their friends for Christmas and haven't had enough snow to build one since. It finally snowed, although not much, and they were out there first thing to get a snowman going. They enlisted Matt's help, he had to shovel the lawn to get enough snow to build a snowman not quite as tall as Aida. It turned out so cute, they were so proud of themselves.

Aida calls frosty the snowman Frosting the Snowman, so our snowman was named Frosting. The girls could see Frosting out their bedroom window and lovingly said good night and good morning until he melted. Now we are anxiously awaiting more snow so we can build another one.

Warm Weather

We have had unseasonably warm weather (mixed with freezing cold) and no snow. So the girls have been aching to get outside. They had a lot of fun riding bikes, and Matt and I got some furniture refinished.
