O Christmas Tree 11-23-2013

One of our favorite new traditions is cutting down a fresh Christmas Tree.  Our ceilings are 12' high, so we love having a huge tree.  Somehow I didn't end up with any pictures of it decorated...it was beautiful!

The tree is so tall that this little ledge is the easiest way to get the star on.  Aida was thrilled to be able to put the star on this year.

Hailey, of course, had to get up there and do a little decorating too.

Sophie was pretty excited about the tree, she was surprisingly good about not pulling things off.

It's nice to have friends 11-19-2013

Aida is growing up fast!  She loves to play with friends, here she is with her cute friend Lydia.  Aida and Lydia are such cute friends, they could play all day. They love to play barbies, dress up and play house.  They also love a good tea party.

Here they are warming up by the fire after playing outside.  Aida loves to come in and flip the switch to turn the fire on anytime she is the least bit cold.

Halloween

Halloween was fun this year with two skeletons and a fancy witch.

We couldn't find a costume for Hailey this year so she helped me paint this skeleton with glow in the dark paint.  We were pretty happy with how it turned out.

It was the year of not finding things, we searched and searched for our witch hats and couldn't find them.  Luckily for Aida Mimi had this super fancy hat!

Sophie was also a skeleton. She enjoyed a sucker while the girls trick or treated.

We all went to Lani's work to trick or treat before going to Libbie and Katie's neighborhood.
