Locks of Love

Hailey has been growing her hair out for a couple of years and it was all the way to her waist.  We finally decided that crying every morning while getting you hair done is not a great way to start the day.  We convinced her to cut it, she's not too sure about it, but it looks great.  The best thing about it is that her hair was long enough to donate to locks of love, hopefully there is a darling little girl out there who will love her new hair!

Aida got a haircut too

No shortage of hugs

Sophie is constantly loved on!  Hailey and Aida can't get enough of her especially now that she really pays attention to them and thinks they are funny.  Hailey is the happiest if Sophie comes to lay with her in bed to wake her up, then she wants her right there the whole time she is getting ready and always has to give her one last kiss on her way out the door.  We waited a long time for Sophie to come to our family and she was totally worth the wait!

Friday night sleepover

Hailey and Aida have been wanting to have a sleepover so we set up their tee-pee and filled it with blankets and pillows.  First they watched a movie on the laptop, then we tried to play a card game but the missionaries showed up and taught us a little about prayer instead.  Then at bedtime Hailey, who has become an excellent reader, ready bedtime stories.  They stayed up late and there was a lot of giggling and running around.  Just when I was ready to make Aida go to her own bed so that they could sleep they both fell asleep right next to each other and slept that way all night.  It was a fun night!

Ready for the day, May 5
